A leading renewable energy manufacturer headquartered in Shanghai faced its first U.S. expansion, requiring rapid infrastructure development and talent acquisition. To support this, Acara partnered with the company to hire key personnel across departments like HR, legal, and IT, while navigating complex regulatory challenges and shifting project timelines.
To address high-volume staffing needs, Acara organized a job fair, attracting 350+ attendees and resulting in 260 job offers and 160 new hires. This successful event helped the client meet production deadlines and continues to support their scaling efforts in the U.S. market.
A leading manufacturer of renewable energy products and solutions, our Client is headquartered in East Asia. The company’s products are available in 165 countries and regions around the world.
Facing its first expansion into the United States, the Client needed to establish a robust infrastructure—and quickly. This effort included standing up a new facility, hiring key personnel, and navigating complex regulatory requirements in an entirely new and unfamiliar environment.
With 60+ years of experience in the talent acquisition industry and extensive knowledge of the energy space, our team at Acara was ready to help the company meet their ambitious talent acquisition objectives.
During this time of transformation and growth, Acara worked with the Client to overcome numerous challenges.
Despite communication and timeline challenges, Acara remained committed to the partnership and worked to build trust with the Client through frequent, transparent updates and information sharing.
The Acara team secured critical hires for the Client’s new facility, including leadership roles in operations, HR, construction management, legal, and customs compliance, who helped guide the company’s entrance into the U.S. market.
With a solid foundation under us, we shifted our focus to addressing the company’s high-volume needs, which included hiring production operators, maintenance technicians, process technicians, quality assurance specialists/ inspectors, and warehouse specialists.
To ensure consistency throughout the high-volume recruitment process, we assigned dedicated project managers, a sourcing team, and recruiters to the roles we had been tasked with filling.
As part of this effort, we worked in partnership with the Client to host a large, in-market hiring event that would deliver the necessary talent to operate their manufacturing facility. We leveraged our in-house marketing team to deploy a localized multi-platform social media ad campaign targeting and attracting jobseekers to our hiring event.
The job fair was a great success, and we achieved our goal of quickly filling all required hires to meet the Client’s production timeline demands. We continue to support the Client’s high-volume hiring needs as they scale their manufacturing presence in the U.S.
