Acara Solutions, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “us, “we,” “our,” or “Company”) has created the following Privacy Policy for when you visit our website: https://acarasolutions.com/ or https://www.superiorjobs.com/, mobile and other applications, and any other online services where this Privacy Policy is posted (hereinafter the “Website”).  This Privacy Policy describes, among other things, the types of information we collect about you when you visit and use our Website, how we use it, and how you can access your information.

This Privacy Policy is governed by our Terms and Conditions of Use, which is also available on our Website. If there are inconsistencies between our Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use, the Privacy Policy controls.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information that you provide to us and that we process, whether you provide the information through our Website, or through other means.

From Job Seekers:

  1. Your name;
  2. Address;
  3. Phone number;
  4. Whether you are over 18 years old;
  5. Eligibility to work in the United States;
  6. Custom username and password if you choose to register for an account on our Acara Jobs website;
  7. Email address; and/or
  8. Any other information included if you choose to submit your resume or apply for a specific job such as career history and educational background.

From Companies:

  1. Federal Employment Identification Numbers (EIN);
  2. Payment information including credit card number in connection with chargeable services;
  3. Name and email of Company representative; and/or
  4. Any other relevant data to verify your account.

B.    Information We May Automatically Collect About You:

Our Website may automatically and passively collect Information about you from your visit to our Website.  We use this Information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs.  This Information may include:

  1. IP address;
  2. Your geographic location;
  3. Date and time of your visit;
  4. Domain server;
  5. Type of computer, web browsers, search engine used, operating system, or platform or web browser you use;
  6. Data identifying the web pages you visited prior to and after visiting our Website; and/or
  7. Your movement and activity within the Website, which is aggregated with other information.

    • Analytics are tools we use, such as Google Analytics, to help provide us with information about traffic to our Website.  These services use the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Website, which it shares with other services and websites who use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.  Google services make use of Google’s Tag Manager.     • Mobile Application Technologies. If you access our Website through a mobile device, we may automatically collect information about your device, your phone number, and your physical location.  You may opt-out of tracking and receiving tailored advertisements on your mobile device by some mobile advertising companies and other similar entities by downloading the App Choices app at aboutads.info/appchoices.
    • Opting Out of Targeting & Do Not Track. We, or third parties with whom we collaborate or contract with to perform services on our behalf, may use your Information to text, email, or contact or share with you information that we believe may be useful to you, such as information about products or services provided by or through us through permissible targeted advertisements or related to our Website.  You may opt-out of receiving permissible targeted advertisements by using the NAI Opt-out tool available at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1
      • Some users engage a Do Not Track (DNT) setting to indicate a preference regarding tracking by advertisers and other parties. Our Website does not respond to DNT signals.

  2. To create your account if you choose to register with us;
  3. To communicate with you regarding our services and job information you may be interested in, provided that you have not already opted-out of receiving such communications;
  4. To use your browsing history to determine relevant search results and provide you with recommended jobs or reach out to you about jobs you may be interested in;
  5. To respond to your inquiries and provide you with requested information about our services and features;
  6. Improve our Website and resolve any technical problems;
  7. Provide targeted advertisements to you;
  8. Comply with our Terms and Conditions of Use;
  9. Comply with any applicable laws and regulations and respond to lawful requests; and/or
  10. For any other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your Information and/or pursuant to your consent.

B.    Lawful Basis for Processing Your Information

Our Website may interface with social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.  We are not responsible for the privacy and security practices of those websites or social media platforms or the information they may collect (which may include IP address).  You should contact such third parties directly to determine their respective privacy policies.  Links to any other party’s website or content do not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation by us of the linked website, social media platform, and/or content.  By accessing our Website through your account with a third party such as Facebook or Google, you understand that these third parties may share certain data with us for the purposes of authentication to permit you to access our Website in a secure manner.  If you choose to access our Website in this manner, this Information will be considered our account information for purposes of your use of the Website.

V.            OUR RIGHT TO CONTACT YOU

We may contact Website visitors who have affirmatively provided us or third-party Websites such as Indeed.com, CareerBuilder, or Monster.com with Information regarding job opportunities or openings, your account status, this privacy statement, or any other policies or agreements relevant to Website visitors.  You agree that we may contact you, or initiate communication with you on behalf of a third party with whom we contract, by way of text, newsletter, email, or telephone and you agree to us contacting you in these matters concerning our Website or related services or targeted information for which we believe you may be interested.

In accordance with our routine record keeping, we may delete certain records that contain Information you have submitted through the Website.  We are under no obligation to store such Information indefinitely and disclaim any liability arising out of, or related to, the destruction of such Information.

VIII.     NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

IX.          CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
