Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

Sharing our clients' goal of maintaining diverse workforces

At Acara, we believe that maintaining a truly diverse, equal, and inclusive environment in our communities requires a commitment to a long-term, meticulous, and systemic approach. We know that cultivating a workforce that reflects diversity is one of the most effective ways to meet the needs of our clients and employees.

  • Our clients

At Acara, we recognize the importance of ensuring proper representation of our clients through a diverse slate of candidates. Our unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in our comprehensive range of enhancement offerings. These offerings are designed to source, recruit, and retain talent from historically overlooked groups. Our dedicated Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) team plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the goals in this area as our client programs take shape.

To maximize visibility for our contingent positions, we partner with Circa, a leading SaaS-based diversity recruitment and HR compliance technology organization. Recently, Circa has expanded its capabilities by acquiring America's Job Exchange and DiversityJobs. Through this partnership, our positions gain exposure to various communities, including Women, Veterans, LGBTQIA, Asian American Pacific Islanders, Native & Indigenous People, Hispanic/Latinx, African Americans, Individuals with Disabilities, and Older Workers.

  • Our employees

At Acara, fostering an inclusive and welcoming work environment is at the core of our mission. We celebrate and value the unique contributions and experiences shaping us as individuals and as an organization. Our vision and culture are inspired by our employees, who are inclusive and proud of who they are, and we are committed to creating spaces, whether in-office or remote, where team members can authentically bring their whole selves to work.

Through a comprehensive array of programs, training sessions, and employee surveys, we actively promote DEIB within our organization. Our focus on tracking DEIB metrics allows us to continuously improve and ensure that each team member feels a genuine sense of belonging at Acara.

  • Equal employment opportunity

In addition to our DEIB enhancement services for talent attraction, we administer our personnel policies and conduct our employment practices in a manner that treats each employee and applicant for employment on the basis of merit and experience, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, perceived intelligence, or perceived physical limitations. In addition, Acara will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities. Read our policy.
