Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will partner with managers, supervisors and employees to effectively support business initiatives, enhance organizational performance and improve employee engagement. The HRG supports the entire employee life cycle from new hire onboarding through the exit interview process. Additionally, the HRG conducts analysis of HR data/processes and provides reporting, analysis and recommendations based on findings. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding human resources practices and Aleron's policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for implementation of human resources practices, policies and procedures including performance management, compensation, coaching, legal compliance, employee relations, processes employee forms, maintains the employee records.                                 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and 
recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Acts as point of contact with drug screen and background check vendor; provides back-up support for background investigations and drug screen process for staff hires. 
  • Drafts and updates company organizational charts on a regular basis.
  • Manages staff PTO process working with Payroll Administrator. 
  • Supports offer letter and onboarding processes. 
  • Oversees the administration of the staff performance management process to ensure timely submittals for all staff employees and follow-up with managers. 
  • Provides analysis and reporting to company leaders; through SAP and internal tracking systems, including new hires and attrition.
  • Supports employee engagement through communication, surveys and data analysis.
  •  Manages exit interview process, analysis and reporting for staff employees.
  • Approves new user requests from IT company wide.
  • Facilitates employee change notices through multiple company systems in a timely manner. 
  • Provide oversight and administration of the eStaff onboarding program including mapping and ruling of documents. 
  • Manages content of Human Resources site on company intranet (Pearl) as needed.
  • Provides back-up and training to HR department staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties and participates in special projects as needed.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional organizational skills to facilitate working across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with advanced spreadsheets and formulas
  • Confident self-starter with positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience working in a highly sensitive environment regarding confidential employee and company information
  • Experience working collaboratively with a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 2 years of human resources experience
