Event Stresses the Importance of STEM in the Workplace

On May 25, Superior’s Jennifer Ventre attended a North Shore Technology Council (NSTC) event that focused on what schools and business can do to prepare students for the workplace.

Over 100 leaders from business and education gathered and weighed in on the challenges the U.S. faces to remain competitive in a global economy. There was consensus that improving performance in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is critically important to a productive, 21st century workforce.
