Superior Participates in the Phoenix Stride & Ride Event
Superior’s Phoenix office staff proudly participated in the 2010 MDA Stride & Ride on March 27, 2010. The goal of this program was to help make a difference for kids and adults affected by neuromuscular diseases.
The MDA—a non-profit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related diseases by funding worldwide research—holds Stride & Ride events in communities across the country. Participants are encouraged to create teams and collect donations to benefit MDA services and research. Proceeds from Stride & Ride fund medical examinations, flu shots, support groups, summer camps for youth, and assistance with the purchase of wheelchairs and leg braces.
“The Stride & Ride event was a great opportunity for us to give back to our community as a team,” said Brian Christel, Vice President of Superior’s Western Region. “We’re proud to support such a worthy cause.”
The MDA currently supports more research on muscular dystrophy than any other private-sector organization in the world. To get involved, visit https://www.mda.org/get-involved/participate-in-an-event to see how you can help support this great cause.
